Apple & Beverage

Thanks to the passion of our cider fruit producer farmer members, we group together activities of production, transformation and marketing of beverages (french ciders, ciders, juices, beers and soft drinks) and apple-based products (compotes and vinegars), in France and abroad.

Lend back cachet to the cider

As the French leader in cider with the Écusson, Loïc Raison and Kérisac brands, our Beverage division is committed to the revaluation of cider in France. The offer is reviewed and all products are redesigned by the cellar masters of the cider factories in accordance with cider-making traditions.

Our brands offer a variety of ciders, from Brut to Rosé, from Organic to Anglo-Saxon style ciders, as well as ranges in individual packaging for aperitif and out of home consumption. All these products are sold in supermarkets, as well as in restaurants, bars and brasseries. Our cider brands: Loïc Raison, Écusson, Kerisac, Viard, Bayeux, La Mordue.

Apples that export internationally

Established in France, we have also developed strongly internationally through the acquisition of other companies in the United States and the United Kingdom.

In 2012 in California, we acquired Manzana, a company specialising in the manufacture of 100% organic apple compotes, vinegars and juices.

In 2016, we acquired Seattle Cider, a company producing cider for the American market.

Finally, in 2018, we acquired Aston Manor, the UK’s leading independent cider maker.

The production and collection of apples

Our division is based on a production and collection of nearly 130,000 tons of cider fruit, 98% of which comes from the orchards of our farmer members, mainly in Normandy and Brittany.

Our consultants specialised in arboriculture of the farmers’ organisation “Apples for processing” accompany Agrial’s farmer members from the choice of varieties to the management of the harvest, including advice on the use of inputs or the implementation of pilot schemes for a production that is ever more respectful of nature and mankind.

Our committed cider fruit producer farmer members produce quality apples while preserving biodiversity through the development of alternative, environmentally friendly methods. They use more gentle apple protection products in a reasoned manner, via daily support from specialist advisors.
